APC Chairman Condemns Terrorist Attack in Niger State, Calls for Collective Resolve

Yilwatda, the APC chairman, strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Niger State that resulted in the death of 42 people and the abduction of several others, including women and children. The attack, described as gruesome and senseless, targeted a community in Borgu Local Government Area.

Yilwatda called for unity and vigilance among security agencies and citizens to combat terrorism. The statement also acknowledged the prompt response of Governor Moham Umaru Bago and commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for directing security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators and rescue the abducted victims.

The incident highlighted the ongoing security challenges in the region, particularly in areas like Sokoto and Zamfara States.
