Northern Governors Back Tinubu's Order to Hunt Down Terrorists in Niger Attack

The Northern Governors Forum (NGF) has endorsed President Tinubu's order to track down and apprehend terrorists behind the recent deadly attack at Kasuwan Daji Market in Niger State. The attack, which led to the killing of 30 people, was strongly condemned by the forum, describing it as a grave threat to peace and livelihood in the region.

Governor Yahaya of Gombe State expressed shock and outrage over the incident, urging security agencies to intensify efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice. The directive also includes ensuring the urgent rescue of abducted victims.

The attack, carried out by gunmen suspected to be terrorists, resulted in the death of 42 people and the abduction of several others, with properties worth millions destroyed.
