Niger Political Parties Sign Peace Accord for Local Government Elections

Political parties in Niger State, Nigeria, signed a Peace Accord facilitated by the Niger State Police Command to guarantee a peaceful and credible local government election on November 1. The Accord was signed during a stakeholder meeting attended by various stakeholders, including representatives from the Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC) and Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC).

The NSIEC Chairman emphasized the election guidelines, while the IPAC Chairman praised the collaborative efforts between NSIEC and the police. The police command reiterated its commitment to neutrality and credibility throughout the electoral process.
