Nigeria Deports 51 Foreigners Over Cybercrime

Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has deported 51 foreigners, including 50 Chinese nationals and one Tunisian, convicted of cybercrime. This move, in collaboration with the Nigerian Immigration Service, aims to protect Nigeria's digital space from international syndicates.

The total number of deported convicts now stands at 102 since the exercise began on August 15, 2025. The authorities state that the repatriation will continue as more foreign nationals are arrested.
