EFCC Arrests 37 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Delta and Imo States

The EFCC, in collaboration with the Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate, apprehended 37 suspected internet fraudsters in coordinated raids across Warri, Delta State, and Owerri, Imo State. The suspects were linked to crimes including cryptocurrency scams and money laundering.

Among those arrested was a suspected kingpin, Robert Ebuka Chukwuedo, who attempted to evade capture. Several associates were also detained, and items such as luxury vehicles, laptops, smartphones, and fetish objects allegedly used in fraudulent activities were seized.

The suspects are facing charges following investigations. This operation highlights the ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime in Nigeria.
