NOUN VC Urges Nigerian Academia to Deepen Migration Research

The Vice Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Olufemi Peter, highlighted the crucial role of academia in migration research during a workshop organized in collaboration with civil society groups in Abuja.

The event aimed to enhance academic engagement in migration research to address Nigeria's specific challenges. Prominent figures like Aliyu Tijani from NCFRMI and Catherine Udida from the Center for Migrant Affairs also commended the efforts to bridge theory and practice in migration studies.
