CORN West Africa Calls for Better Peace-Building Documentation

Dr. Timiper Felix Allison Mondai, the Executive Director of CORN West Africa, has called for stronger documentation of peace-building efforts in Nigeria.

This statement was made during a high-level user engagement dialogue at the Peace Actor Network Forum, which utilized a digital peace data platform known as the Nigeria Peace Web (NPW). Dr.

Mondai highlighted the necessity of enhancing policy development strategies within the peace-building sector. He stated that strengthening documentation and visibility of peace initiatives is essential for building a coordinated evidence base to sustain peace-building efforts across Nigeria, particularly given the country's complex conflict landscape.

Professor Oludayo Tade, the Director of CORN, echoed this sentiment, noting that much of the work remains undocumented and largely invisible, which hinders effective research and public discourse on peace initiatives across Nigeria.
