Nigeria Unveils Africa's First Private Aeronautics University to Shape Future Aviation Leadership

Nigeria has introduced Africa's inaugural private aeronautics university, the Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management (IBUAM), aimed at shaping the future of aviation leadership in Africa. The institution, founded by Isaac Balami, will offer aeronautics management education, including pilot training and aircraft maintenance, in collaboration with regulatory bodies like the NCAA and EASA.

With a focus on practical experience, students will receive hands-on training and access to cutting-edge simulation technology. The university's facilities include an aircraft maintenance and repair center in Lagos.

The initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's vision for local enterprise and human capital development.
