Nigeria Celebrates Success at Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

Adeboye Adeyinka Anthony, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, praised Team Nigeria's performance at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, where the team secured a total of 24 medals: 10 gold, 7 silver, and 7 bronze. He commended the leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC), specifically Chairman Malam Shehu Dikko and Director General Bukola Olopade, for their vision and reforms that contributed to the team's success.

Adeboye expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering support and the Renewed Hope vision, which he stated is crucial for the transformation of Nigerian sports through strategic investment and improved governance.
