Tinubu: Nigeria Will Not Surrender Territory to Criminals

President Bola Tinubu declared that Nigeria will not yield any territory to criminals, emphasizing the government's commitment to combating insecurity. He praised the Nigerian Army for their successful operations that led to the elimination of notorious bandit leader Ibrahim Bastuji and the rescue of Hajiya Amina Rabe Abubakar, a widow of a late military officer.

The operations involved joint efforts from the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police Force, and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps. Tinubu described the operation against Bastuji as a significant setback for criminal networks in the region, linking him to violent attacks and kidnappings that have caused hardship in Kogi State and neighboring communities.

The President reaffirmed his administration's support for military and security agencies in their fight against banditry and violent crime, assuring that resources and training will continue to be provided to enhance security across the country.
