Nigerian Army Captures Terror Kingpin Babawo Badoo in Major Operation

The Nigerian Army has achieved a significant victory in its fight against terrorism by capturing the wanted terror kingpin Babawo Badoo and 37 criminal suspects. The operation, which took place across the country, led to the rescue of 15 kidnap victims and the recovery of several weapons and logistical items.

Babawo Badoo is believed to be the mastermind behind numerous deadly attacks and abductions in the North Central region. Additionally, troops in the North East collaborated with the Department of State Services (DSS) to apprehend members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) and neutralize other terrorists.

The Army also confirmed the arrest of six terrorist collaborators and logisticians in Borno and Yobe states.
