Nigerian Army Faces Outrage Over Corps Member's Death

Lieutenant Odunola Olawuyi stated that Jamiu was caught in crossfire. However, conflicting accounts from witnesses, including a viral TikTok video by a user named Zarah, allege that soldiers forcibly entered Jamiu's home and shot him twice in the head.

Friends and family claim that soldiers attempted to clean the crime scene and prevent Jamiu's sister from seeking help. The incident has sparked protests demanding justice, with demonstrators expressing outrage over military conduct in civilian areas.
