Amaanah Non-Interest Finance Launches Ethical Financing in 2026

Amaanah Non-Interest Finance Company officially commenced operations on October 1, 2026, following the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) approval to offer interest-free financing solutions. The launch event took place at The Providence Hotel and was attended by stakeholders from various sectors, themed "Financial Independence: Empowering Lives Through Ethical Finance." Chairman Dr Akeem Oyewale stated the company's mission is to provide financial solutions that align with customers' values.

Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Dr Adewumi Oni emphasized that the company aims to go beyond merely providing access to funds. Amaanah's product offerings include Asset Financing, HomeFlex for home appliances, and FlexiWheels for vehicle financing.

The company also plans to launch an Amaanah Investment App and an online marketplace for customers. The event featured a keynote address by Prof Taofeeq Azeez, Chief Imam of the University of Abuja, and was chaired by Dr Umaru Kwairanga, with Niyi Yusuf serving as co-chair.
