Nigerian Footballers Dominate IFFHS Women’s Africa XI 2025 Selection

Nigerian footballers have showcased their dominance in the IFFHS Women’s Africa XI for 2025, with five players from Nigeria earning a place in the prestigious selection. The list released by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) features goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozi, defenders Michel Alozi and Asheigh Plumptre, midfielder Christy Ucheibe, and forward Rasheedat Ajibade.

These Nigerian players have been recognized for their outstanding performances both at the club level in Nigeria and in Europe. The selection also includes players from South Africa, Morocco, and Zambia, highlighting the diverse talent across the African continent.
