Nigerian-French Navies Conduct Exercise CROCODILE LIFT to Boost Maritime Security

The Nigerian and French Navies launched Exercise CROCODILE LIFT 2025 in the Gulf of Guinea to enhance amphibious warfare capabilities. The multinational maritime security exercise involved five ships, two helicopter detachments, and collaboration between the Nigerian Navy and the French Navy.

The exercise, under the Western Naval Command, aimed to strengthen maritime security and amphibious warfare readiness in the region. Key officials, including Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, emphasized the exercise's strategic importance in boosting operational readiness and fostering regional collaboration.
