Nigerian Navy Rescues Victims from Lagos Building Collapse

The Nigerian Navy conducted a successful rescue operation for victims trapped in a building collapse in Lagos. The incident occurred in Alakija, prompting a distress call that led to the mobilization of personnel.

Captain Abiodun Folorunsho, the Director of Naval Information, confirmed the swift response of the Navy's team, which demonstrated professionalism and dedication in the search and rescue efforts. Several victims were successfully rescued from the debris and were evacuated for urgent medical attention.

They were immediately transported to a hospital in Ojo for emergency medical treatment, where ongoing care was provided by medical personnel from the Nigerian Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff commended the courage and professionalism displayed by the rescue team and medical personnel.
