Nigerian Opposition Coalition Urges Party Members to Join African Democratic Congress.

A coalition of opposition leaders in Nigeria has demanded that members resign from their current political parties to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The call for transition was made during a caucus meeting in Abuja, led by the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, Bolaji Abdullahi.

The move aims to strengthen the ADC's position as a political alternative. Meanwhile, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission disclosed the approval of 94 Decommissioning and Abandonment plans, totaling a liability of billions of naira.

Additionally, there are indications of former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso's potential move to the Progressives Congress (APC).
