Tinubu's Administration Achieves Nearly 100% Campaign Promises

Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has fulfilled nearly 100% of his commitments made during the 2023 presidential campaign, indicating significant improvements in Nigeria.

This statement was made during the presentation of the 2025 Nigeria 2050 Child Foresight Analysis in Abuja. Alausa emphasized the administration's focus on education as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, aiming to build a $1 trillion economy.

He noted that over one million children have been enrolled in schools nationwide in the past two and a half years, with Jigawa State contributing over 180,000 enrollments. The Nigerian Education Sector Renewal Initiative is driving reforms in technical and vocational education, STEM education, and teacher quality.

Alausa linked investments in medical education to addressing skills shortages and migration pressures, and he mentioned that accurate data from states like Kaduna and Jigawa will help target interventions and monitor progress in education.
