Nigerian Woman Recovers N215,000 from New Mother

A Nigerian woman, identified as @efethelma3 on TikTok, gained viral attention after sharing her experience of recovering N215,000 from a neighbour who had just given birth. She had lent the money to the heavily pregnant neighbour, who operated a POS business, with the understanding that a transfer would follow.

After waiting for the transfer, which never arrived, she learned that the neighbour had gone into labor and was admitted to the hospital. Rather than wait any longer, she visited the maternity ward, congratulated the new mother, and promptly requested her money.

After spending nearly four hours negotiating with the woman and her husband, she ultimately received half of the amount via transfer and the other half in cash. Although she left the hospital with the full sum recovered, the new mother did not acknowledge her greeting on the way out.

The incident sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting her actions while others questioned her approach.
