Nigeria's Best Bartenders Compete in World Class 2026

Diageo has officially launched the World Class Nigeria 2026, a prestigious bartending competition aimed at showcasing Nigeria's best bartenders. The event took place in Lagos and was attended by key figures from the media and bar community.

The competition, now in its 17th year, spans 60 countries and invites bartenders and mixologists from across Nigeria to participate. Interested bartenders can enter by recording short videos of themselves mixing cocktails of their choice using Diageo spirit brands such as Singleton, Johnnie Walker, and Don Julio.

These videos should be posted on Instagram, tagging the official account @worldclassng with the hashtag #worldclassnigeria2026. The initiative aims to elevate Nigerian bartenders onto the global stage and highlight the country's burgeoning cocktail culture.
