Nigeria Gains Global Support for 2026 WPRF Bid

Nigeria is actively pursuing the opportunity to host the 2026 World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), which is set to take place from November 15-21, 2026, in Abuja. The bid has garnered substantial global support, indicated by the involvement of various international leaders and organizations, including Nigerian President Bola Tinubu and Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema.

Professor Justin Green, CEO of the Global Alliance for Public Relations, praised Nigeria's preparations during his visit to the Nigerian Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic. He commended the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and its President, Dr.

Ik Neliaku, for their leadership in driving the event's preparations. The forum is expected to provide Nigeria with a unique platform to showcase its culture, heritage, tourism potential, and investment opportunities.

Ambassador Chimezi Ogu expressed optimism that the forum would facilitate visa arrangements for delegates from around the world, further enhancing Nigeria's global engagement.
