NIPR Lagos Launches PRFest2026 Focused on Public Trust

The Lagos State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) officially launched PRFest2026 during its monthly meeting on June 4, 2026, at the Eko FM Multipurpose Hall in Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos. The chairman of the Lagos State chapter, Samuel Ayetutu, PhD, described PRFest as a significant initiative aimed at uniting communication professionals, business leaders, policymakers, academics, and students to engage on critical national issues.

The 2026 edition will particularly focus on the intersection of security and nation-building, emphasizing the importance of strategic communication in fostering public trust. Ayetutu urged members of the institute to actively participate in the festival, which will serve as a valuable platform for learning, networking, and mentorship.

Bola Laji Abimbola, the chairman of the PRFest 2026 committee, disclosed that the committee is diligently working to ensure the event's success, which is scheduled to take place from July 3 to July 9, 2026.
