Nigeria's Defense Minister Accused of Bribery by U.S. Rep

Florida Representative Kim Daniels, a member of the Democratic Party representing District 14, accused Nigeria's Minister of State for Defense, Bello Matawalle, of attempting to bribe a U.S. official. This allegation was made in a viral video released on her official Facebook account, where she claimed that Matawalle's actions were intended to deflect attention from a United Nations World Congress Diplomats (WCD) report that highlighted the genocide of Christians in Nigeria.

Daniels emphasized that no amount of pressure would silence her stance against the killings of Christians in Nigeria. She also called for Nigerian President Bola Tinubu to remove Matawalle from his position, citing his alleged complicity in the violence occurring in Plateau, Benue, and Kaduna states.

As of the report, there had been no official response from Matawalle regarding these serious allegations.
