Nigeria's Gas Sector Developments Position Country Globally

Dr. Muhammad Musa Zango Fatah, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that recent developments in Nigeria's gas sector are helping to reposition the country among the world's leading gas producers.

He made these remarks while speaking to journalists at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) press center in Kano. Dr.

Fatah highlighted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration's "Renew Hope" agenda, which aims to strengthen the economy and enhance the country's energy resources. He noted that the reforms in the gas sector are beginning to reflect the intended impact of policies designed to expand Nigeria's energy capacity and improve its position in the global gas market.

Dr. Fatah acknowledged that while economic reforms often face short-term challenges, they are necessary steps toward building a resilient and prosperous Nigeria for the present and future.
