Nigeria's Osasere Okundaye Becomes Youngest Chartered Accountant

Osasere Okundaye has achieved a historic milestone by becoming Nigeria's youngest Chartered Accountant at the age of 16. The Federal Ministry of Youth Development, represented by Minister Ayodel Olawand, commended her accomplishment, describing it as a testament to the immense potential of the country's youth.

Olawand emphasized that Okundaye's success reflects years of dedication, discipline, and unwavering commitment to excellence. He congratulated her and acknowledged the critical role of her support system, including parents, teachers, and mentors, in her journey.

Okundaye's achievement surpasses the previous record set in 2022 by Jonathan Adewal, who became a Chartered Accountant at 17. She successfully qualified through the rigorous examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a prestigious professional qualification in the country.

The Ministry of Youth Development expressed its commitment to nurturing young talent and encouraging Nigerian youth to break barriers and strive for excellence in their chosen careers.
