Osasere Okundaye Becomes Nigeria's Youngest Chartered Accountant

Osasere Okundaye has made history by becoming Nigeria’s youngest Chartered Accountant at the age of 16. She achieved this remarkable feat by qualifying through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Account Technician Scheme, rather than waiting until she was old enough for university admission.

This accomplishment surpasses the previous record set in 2022 by Jonathan Adewal, who qualified at 17. Okundaye shared her testimony during a monthly program at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries headquarters in Magboro, Ogun State.

She expressed gratitude towards her parents for encouraging her educational pursuits. The founder of the ministry, Olukoya, and other church members celebrated her achievement, which reflects diligence, discipline, and commitment.

Ayodel Olawand, a minister in youth development, also congratulated Okundaye on this significant milestone, marking the beginning of greater accomplishments in her life.
