16-Year-Old Osaser Okunday Becomes Nigeria's Youngest Accountant

Osaser Okunday, a 16-year-old, has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming Nigeria's youngest chartered accountant. Her journey began three years ago after completing secondary school, encouraged by her parents to enroll in an accounting technician scheme rather than waiting for university admission.

Okunday faced significant challenges, particularly with the first level of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) exams, which she found difficult due to her lack of prior background in accounting. Her biggest setback occurred when she failed a final paper last year but persevered and successfully rewrote it earlier this year.

During a testimony at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, she shared her inspiring story, which gained traction on social media. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM, celebrated her achievement, describing it as a testament to God's faithfulness and the rewards of diligence, discipline, and perseverance.
