NiMet Warns of Heavy Rainfall and Floods in Multiple Nigerian States

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) issued a weather forecast warning of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and potential flooding in several states. NiMet advised residents to remain cautious as widespread thunderstorms and moderate rainfall were expected in states like Taraba, Adamawa, Kebbi, Zamfara, and others.

The agency highlighted the risk of flooding in parts of Niger States and urged communities to stay alert and take necessary precautions. NiMet also predicted thunderstorms and moderate rainfall in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Benue, Niger, Kogi, Kwara, and other areas.

The weather outlook emphasized the need for preparedness to mitigate the impact of the forecasted severe weather conditions.
