The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has released a weather outlook predicting a mix of sunshine and thunderstorms across various parts of Nigeria from Monday to Wednesday. The forecast, disclosed on Sunday in Abuja, warns residents to take precautionary measures due to expected strong winds and rainfall. On Monday morning, sunny skies with patches of clouds are expected in the northern region, but thunderstorms accompanied by light rainfall may occur later in the day. Taraba State is predicted to experience thunderstorms and light rain on Tuesday. Similar weather conditions are anticipated on Wednesday, with sunny skies expected in the morning followed by thunderstorms and moderate rainfall in Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, and Kaduna states. The central region may see isolated thunderstorms and moderate rainfall. In the southern region, cloudy skies with sunshine are expected on Monday morning, with thunderstorms and moderate rainfall likely later. NiMet advises residents to monitor weather updates and take necessary precautions during heavy rainfall.
