NITDA Unveils 6th Edition of Service Charter in Abuja

On June 24, 2026, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) launched the 6th edition of its Service Charter in Abuja. This event marked a significant milestone in NITDA's commitment to improving transparency, accountability, and service delivery to citizens, businesses, and government institutions across Nigeria's digital ecosystem.

Mr. Helen Lawal, CEO of SERVICOM, commended NITDA for unveiling the reviewed charter and emphasized that the true test lies in its implementation.

The charter outlines NITDA's commitment to providing clear information and establishing service delivery standards, including specific commitments such as domain name registration and project clearance timelines. Mr.

Lawal urged NITDA to ensure adequate public communication regarding the charter and to empower staff to deliver quality service. The launch was attended by various stakeholders, including Mr.

Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director General of NITDA, and Dr. Dimi Shive Warowei, representing the Director of Corporate Planning and Strategy.
