SERVICOM Launches NSITF Local Service Charter for Accountability

On August 4, 2026, the SERVICOM Office, under the leadership of Ag. National Coordinator/Chief Executive Officer Mrs.

Helen Lawal, unveiled the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Local Service Charter at the NSITF Headquarters in Abuja. This initiative is part of the Federal Government’s commitment to improving public service delivery by strengthening accountability, transparency, and customer-focused services.

Mrs. Lawal described the Charter as an open commitment to citizens, promising quality service and a culture of accountability.

The Charter translates the statutory responsibilities of the NSITF into measurable service standards, promoting operational performance and transparency. It defines services offered, expected standards, timelines, and complaint mechanisms.

Mrs. Lawal urged NSITF management to support the initiative through staff training, public awareness, and compliance monitoring to ensure effective implementation.
