NLNG Graduates 70 Professionals from Train 7 Programme

Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) announced the graduation of 70 professionals from its Train 7 Programme, a significant milestone in human capacity development within the oil and gas sector. The program, which lasted for 12 months, focused on essential skills such as data analysis, supply chain management, health, safety, and environmental management.

NLNG's General Manager for External Relations and Sustainable Development, Sophia Horsfal, emphasized the importance of this initiative in equipping graduates with the intellectual discipline and character necessary for meaningful contributions to their fields. Ali Uwai, Project Director for the NLNG Train 7 Project, noted that the program strengthens Nigeria's pool of industry-ready professionals and addresses critical skill gaps.

The initiative, supported by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has trained a total of 401 candidates across multiple batches. Alexi Emel, General Manager for Human Capacity Development at NCDMB, commended the collaboration, highlighting the project's role in empowering Nigerian talent and advancing technical competencies in the oil and gas value chain.
