NCDMB and Renaissance Launch Training for 300 Nigerians

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has partnered with Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited to launch a specialized human capital development program designed to train 300 young Nigerians in the oil and gas sector. The initiative aims to equip participants with industry-relevant skills in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineering.

During the kickoff ceremony, Felix Ogb, the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, stated that the program aligns with the board's mandate to build local capacity and deepen Nigerian participation in the oil and gas sector, thereby creating opportunities that support economic growth. Tari Bufazi, the NCDMB boss, emphasized that trainees would gain practical industry exposure and culminate their training with globally recognized certification.

The program is structured to address existing skill gaps and prepare participants for the demands of the industry, particularly as new investment projects emerge in Nigeria's oil and gas sector.
