NCDMB Graduates 50 Trainees in Crane Operations

Fifty trainees graduated in Level 1 and Level 2 crane operations on Friday in Port Harcourt, Rivers, sponsored by the Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). The Executive Secretary of the NCDMB, Felix Omatsola Ogbe, represented by Halvin Okonmah, stated that the training aimed to increase indigenous workforce participation in the oil and gas industry.

Ogbe urged the graduates to uphold the board's core values: patriotism, professionalism, integrity, creativity, passion, and teamwork. Funmi Ogbue, Managing Director of Zigma Limited, which facilitated the training, encouraged the graduates to be good ambassadors of the board and highlighted the importance of human capital development.

A total of 355 applications were received, with 65 shortlisted for screening, ultimately leading to the selection of 50 participants who successfully completed the four-week program. Ogbue noted that the completion rate reflects the dedication of the participants and the quality of the training.
