NLNG Train 7 Graduates 70 Professionals in Port Harcourt

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) celebrated the graduation of 70 professionals from its Train 7 programme, which is part of a human capacity development initiative aimed at strengthening Nigeria's workforce in the oil and gas sector. The graduation ceremony took place in Port Harcourt and marked the completion of a 12-month intensive training program focused on data analysis, supply chain management, health, safety, environmental management, business management, and information technology.

Ann Mari Palmber Ikuru, NLNG's Manager of Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, emphasized the program's commitment to developing a skilled workforce ready for the dynamic global energy sector. Sophia Horsfal, NLNG's General Manager of External Relations and Sustainable Development, noted that the graduates are equipped with the necessary skills and discipline to contribute meaningfully to their fields.

Engr Ali Uwai, Project Director of the NLNG Train 7 project, highlighted the initiative's role in addressing the critical skills gap in the oil and gas industry. The program, in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has trained a total of 401 candidates across two batches.
