Super Falcons to Focus on One Match at a Time Strategy

Chiamaka Nnadozie, recognized as one of the best women goalkeepers in the world, announced that the Super Falcons will implement a one-match-at-a-time strategy as they approach the 14th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco from July 26 to August 16. Nnadozie, who was awarded African Woman Goalkeeper of the Year for the third consecutive year, emphasized the importance of focusing on each match in their group stage, which includes Egypt, Zambia, and Malawi.

She expressed confidence in the team's ability to perform well and highlighted the significance of securing a FIFA World Cup ticket while also aiming to retain the championship title. Nnadozie dismissed the notion that their group is tougher than others, asserting that African teams have improved and should be respected, regardless of their perceived status as underdogs.
