Northern Nigeria Flour Mills AGM 2026: Key Resolutions Passed

Northern Nigeria Flour Mills Plc (NNFM) held its 54th Annual General Meeting on Monday, 14 September 2026, at the Tahir Guest Palace in Kano. The company subsequently filed the resolutions passed at the meeting with regulators on 16 September 2026.

Shareholders received the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2026, along with reports from the Directors, Auditors, and Audit Committee.

Three directors retiring by rotation — Mr John Coumantaros, Alhaji Rabi'u Mohammed Gwarzo (OON), and Mr Joseph Umolu — were re-elected to the board. Additionally, three directors appointed since the last AGM were ratified: Mr Devlin Hainsworth, Mr Nassib Raffoul, and Bar. (Mrs.) Batulu Mohammed Koguna.

Shareholders authorised the Directors to fix the remuneration of the company's external auditors. Three shareholder representatives — Alhaji Bello Umar Gwangwazo, Alhaji Lawan Sule Garo, and Alhaji Sadiq A Othman — were re-elected to the Statutory Audit Committee until the next AGM. The board nominated Alhaji Sani Umar, Alhaji Auwalu Muktari, and Ogwuche Theophilus to represent it on the same committee.
