El-Kanemi Warriors Ready for New Season, Says Goni

Ishaq Hussain Goni, the assistant coach of El-Kanemi Warriors, announced that the team is ready for the upcoming season following their relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season. Despite the challenges, Goni highlighted that the team has successfully recruited good players and has intensified their training.

He expressed gratitude for the progress made, stating, “Alhamdulillah, some people doubted that we could make it this early, but by the will of Allah, we now have better and fully prepared players who are ready to wear the yellow and green jersey.” Goni promised that the team would exceed expectations in the new campaign and aims to secure one of the promotion tickets back to the Premier League. He also mentioned plans to unveil new players soon and expressed aspirations to perform well in continental competitions.
