NNPC Foundation Donates MRI Machine to Kano Hospital

The NNPC Foundation has donated a state-of-the-art 1.5 Tesla MRI machine to Dala Orthopaedic Hospital in Kano, Nigeria, to enhance healthcare delivery and improve access to advanced diagnostic services. The donation was made during a handover ceremony attended by key officials, including Emmanuella Arukw, the Managing Director of NNPC Foundation, and representatives from NNPC Ltd.

This initiative aligns with NNPC Ltd's commitment to social investment and aims to address the growing demand for specialized healthcare services in Nigeria. The MRI machine is expected to significantly improve the hospital's diagnostic capabilities for orthopaedic, neurological, trauma, musculoskeletal, and gynecological conditions, thereby reducing the burden on patients who previously faced long travel distances and high costs for such services.

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Chief Medical Director Isa Nurudeen expressed gratitude for the donation, describing it as a major milestone in enhancing healthcare services in the region.
