NNPC, gas suppliers sign 1.29bscf/d Feedgas agreement with NLNG

NNPC and several gas suppliers have signed Gas Supply Agreements with NLNG, committing to deliver 1.29 billion standard cubic feet per day of feedgas, with an extension option. The agreement was signed at the NNPC Towers in Abuja, involving companies like Amni International Petroleum Development Company, Sunlink Energies Resources Limited, and others.

This move aims to address the prolonged shortfall in upstream gas availability and boost Nigeria's energy transition agenda. NNPC's Group CEO, Engr Bashir Bayo Ojulari, praised the agreement as a significant step towards sustainable gas supply and value creation.

NLNG's Managing Director, Philip Mshelbila, highlighted the importance of the GSAs in enhancing local gas production capacity and ensuring supply reliability for industrial growth. The agreement is seen as a turning point in NLNG's journey towards growth and expansion in the global energy market.
