The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has launched its first technology-powered self-service smart station in Abuja, located along Bill Clinton Drive, Airport Road. This 24-hour facility allows motorists to dispense petrol themselves and access various energy and vehicle-related services.
It combines traditional fuel retailing with digital payment solutions, electric vehicle charging, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) dispensing, and automotive services. The station operates entirely on solar energy, featuring over 200 kilowatts of capacity.
It includes 16 Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) pumps, two Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) pumps, six electric vehicle charging points, and an automated car wash. Motorists can complete transactions via the NNPC Retail mobile application, enhancing convenience and reducing transaction times.
