Nigeria Launches First Self-Service Fuel Station in Lagos

Sunbeth Energies Limited unveiled Nigeria’s first self-service fuel station at its Ogba outlet in Lagos, introducing a digital fueling experience that allows customers to initiate, monitor, and complete fuel purchases independently. Lateef Abioye, Managing Director of Sunbeth Energies, stated that this launch represents a pivotal moment for both the company and Nigeria’s downstream petroleum industry, emphasizing transparency and customer empowerment.

The innovation, developed in collaboration with Tech Brokers Limited, showcases that world-class technology can be created locally to address industry challenges. Abioye noted that this deployment is the first step in a broader digital transformation strategy aimed at enhancing customer experience across Sunbeth Energies’ retail network.
