NNPC Ltd/Chevron Target 146,000 Barrels in Awodi-07 Oil Well Success

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited and Chevron Nigeria Limited have achieved a major success by targeting 146,000 barrels of oil at the Awodi-07 oil well in the shallow offshore region of the Western Niger Delta. This accomplishment is part of their joint venture's ongoing efforts to explore and exploit hydrocarbon resources effectively. The drilling operation, which commenced in late November 2025 and concluded in mid-December 2025, was executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with regulatory standards. The successful completion of comprehensive testing and data acquisition confirmed the significant presence of hydrocarbons across multiple reservoir zones, marking a notable milestone for the NNPC Ltd/CNL joint venture.
