NNPC Reduces Fuel Prices Ahead of Public Holiday: Petrol at N850/Litre!

NNPC has reduced fuel prices ahead of the public holiday on Friday, with some retail stations selling petrol at N850 per litre in Lagos. The reduction of N15 per litre makes it the cheapest place to buy petrol before the holiday.

The federal government declared Friday, September 5, 2025, a public holiday to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Nigerians are encouraged to uphold the values of peace, love, and compassion during this celebration.

Ardova Plc and Mobil filling stations have also reduced petrol prices to N860 per litre. The price reduction is expected to benefit travelers and those meeting loved ones during the holiday.
