NNPP, APGA lawmakers join PDP in Taraba

Three members of the Taraba State House of Assembly, previously representing the NNPP and APGA, have defected to the ruling PDP, increasing the party's strength in the Assembly to 16 members. The APC currently holds eight seats.

Hon. Umar Adamu, Hon.

Zakari Sanusi, and Hon. Anas Shaibu cited the performance and leadership style of Governor Agbu Kefas as a significant factor in their decision to join the PDP.

The lawmakers expressed their desire to better serve their community and contribute to the state's development. Speaker of the House, John Bonzina, welcomed the defectors and assured them of full support, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration for the benefit of the state.

This move reflects the members' commitment to contributing to the transformational efforts of Governor Kefas in Taraba State.
