NNPP Accuses APC of Violent Attack on Members

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and the Kwankwasiyya movement have accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of orchestrating an attack on their members during a gathering in Ruwan Bago Ward. This incident reportedly left 11 NNPP members injured, with two vehicles vandalized and several mobile phones stolen.

Ibrahim Karay, a spokesperson for the NNPP, urged security agencies to investigate the matter and ensure justice is served. Habibu Sale Moham, a spokesperson for the Kwankwasiyya movement, alleged that armed thugs disrupted the peaceful gathering, which was organized to receive defectors from the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

The NNPP claimed that the attack resulted in the destruction of at least three vehicles belonging to its members. In response, the APC described the allegations as baseless and an attempt to distract from internal tensions within the NNPP, asserting their commitment to peaceful political engagement.
