NNPP Demands Clearance for Kwankwaso from Terrorism Claims

The Kano State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has publicly urged the Presidency and the National Security Adviser (NSA) to clear Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of allegations linking him to terrorism. This statement was issued on Friday by Ibrahim Karay, the party's spokesperson in Kano State.

The NNPP expects the federal government to promptly address these unverifiable accusations against Kwankwaso, whom they describe as a patriot who has significantly contributed to education and human capital development in Nigeria. The party warned against politicizing security matters, emphasizing that national security issues should not be used for political gain.

They also called on patriotic Nigerians to condemn such actions and appealed to the United States not to act based on these unverifiable claims, which they consider mere political tactics. The NNPP highlighted that the APC had previously sought Kwankwaso's membership but declined due to differing political ideologies and party manifestos.

They insist that the Presidency and NSA should act swiftly to prevent national embarrassment.
