The statement, signed by Okechukwu Modebe, the APC governorship candidate, portrayed Soludo as a man who has lost ground and is seeking assistance everywhere. Modebe expressed confidence in the party's readiness to win the August 16 election, highlighting the selection of Azuka Okwuosa as a key figure in the party's strategy.

The party aims to secure victory in the Anambra South senatorial zone election as well.
