Ogun Police Assure Residents: No Bandits in Lusada

The Ogun State Police Command, led by CP Bode Ojajuni, has addressed concerns regarding the alleged presence of bandits in Lusada, which had triggered panic among community members. The fears were fueled by voice notes circulated on social media, where an individual portraying an Islamic cleric claimed that bandits were residing in the area.

In response to these rumors, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi issued a statement on Friday, confirming that the police had promptly deployed personnel to the Agbara area command, under the leadership of ACP Folashad Tanaruno, to assess the situation. The police have initiated robust patrols across Lusada and neighboring communities to dispel fears and restore public confidence.

The command emphasized the importance of community cooperation and vigilance, urging citizens to remain calm and support the police in maintaining law and order.
