APC Nasarawa Dismisses Candidate Replacement Claims Ahead of 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, under the leadership of State Chairman Dr. Aliyu Bello, has officially dismissed reports suggesting that candidates from the party are being replaced ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Bello made this announcement on Saturday in Lafia during the distribution of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) forms EC9 and EC13. He described the claims of candidate substitution as false and challenged anyone making such assertions to provide evidence.

Bello emphasized that no candidate has been replaced and that the names submitted to the APC national secretariat would be uploaded to the INEC portal without any substitutions. He expressed confidence in the APC's chances for success in the upcoming elections and highlighted the party's commitment to working closely with INEC to ensure compliance with electoral timelines.

Bello also mentioned the establishment of a reconciliation committee to engage aggrieved members and strengthen party unity.
